Our news media has made the real estate market sound so bad, but it's not as bad as you're hearing. Oh yes it has slowed down, no doubt, and homes are not selling as fast as they did 3 years ago, but they ARE selling.
I tell my clients that the name of the game today is "patience" and "right price tag". Homes ARE selling, but we are definitely seeing longer days on market.
